What was I thinking?

I was watching the the Vanderbilt-Cincinnati game last week one day after practice and one of the announcers made the observation that A.J. Ogilvy had some facial hair. He guesstimated that the facial hair was probably slowing him down by causing him to be less aerodynamic.
I then began to recall some of the different styles of facial hair I’ve played with over the years. Feel free to make as much fun of me as possible in the comments, I deserve it.
I am putting an electronic razor on my Christmas list for obvious reasons.
8th Grade:
Sophomore year of HS: With the net we cut down after we won in the region tournament ensuring our first state tourney birth in 25+ years.
Junior year of high school: Wearing my jersey from the UGA Elite camp. Who knew I’d end up a Bulldog after all.
Senior year of high school: Here we go. This is where it starts to get interesting. This was the first time I could really grow facial hair. I went all out and had a Chinstrap for the whole year. At a few home games, my boy @JamesCarr89, brought some brown paint and painted chinstraps on any fans dumb enough to get one (including my brother and the George W. Bush cutout). I even tried to convince Gani Lawal to grow one at an awards banquet…
Freshman year of college: When you’re playing college basketball, you don’t get to go home for any breaks. You miss fall break, Thanksgiving break, and Christmas break. Over Christmas break you rarely come into contact with people besides your teammates and coaches. This gives you very little incentive to shave, or at least it gave me very little incentive to shave. I went with the full out nasty beard for a good part of the season. I went with the absolutely embarrassing goatee for the Davidson game.
Sophomore year of college: I went with the clean shaven look for part of the season but eventually went back to the beard.
Junior year of college: Coach Fox isn’t a real big fan of facial hair and the picture below is what I’ll be looking like all season.
