My name is Connor Nolte and I’m transferring from Furman to UGA to play basketball for the Bulldogs.  For those of you who do not know me, I’ll give some brief background information.

I was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and lived there for 8 years. This led to me becoming a huge Green Bay Packers fan, Brewers fan, Wisconsin Badgers Fan, and Milwaukee Bucks fan.

My family moved to Huntsville, Alabama and lived there for two years before moving to my current hometown, Alpharetta, Ga.  I went to Milton High School and had a great career there with the help of some of the best teammates a guy could ask for.  I ended up signing with Furman to become the 1st basketball player in Milton’s 80+ year history to get a D1 scholarship.

Furman just wasn’t the place for me.  I decided that rather than be unhappy at a small school I would give my dream of playing big time college basketball another shot.  After speaking with a few different programs, I decided to enroll at the University of Georgia to be a walk on member of Coach  Fox’s first team at UGA.

Something I did at Furman was start a blog.  It went by the name ConnorNolte.com and led to my nickname (”dot com”). I plan on blogging while at UGA about my life as a student athlete.

If you have any questions you can email me at connor@passersremorse.com.
